As a freelance director and producer in Nashville, I've had the opportunity to work on various projects, from small events to big-budget productions. Recently, I had the incredible experience of being a camera operator for a live production music video shoot at the LabelLive soundstage. The artist showcasing her talent was the beautiful and talented singer, Jacey DeFilippo, whose mesmerizing voice and stage presence made the event truly memorable.
The music video shoot was an artist showcase for music labels, and it featured an all-star team of professionals who were as passionate about their craft as I am about mine. We filmed the video using Sony a7iv cameras and DJI Ronin gimbals, which allowed us to capture smooth, high-quality footage that did justice to Jacey's captivating performance.
One of the standout aspects of this project was the opportunity to collaborate with some truly accomplished individuals in the industry. The audio engineer for the shoot has won multiple Grammy Awards, and the lighting director has worked as the live lighting director for none other than Carrie Underwood. Their expertise and commitment to excellence were evident in every aspect of the production.
Working on this big production music video was not only an amazing experience but also an incredible learning opportunity. Being surrounded by such a talented team inspired me to push my creative boundaries and strive for even greater heights in my work. I am truly grateful for this opportunity and look forward to applying the insights and skills I gained to future projects.
